Phu Quoc's real estate is still a potential and attractive market for investors

Sharing with Enterprise & Integration Magazine, Dr. Nguyen Tri Hieu, a banking and finance expert, said that the real estate sector in general and Phu Quoc's real estate in particular is still a potential and attractive market for investors after 2023.

According to Dr. Nguyen Tri Hieu, entering 2023, Vietnam's economy as well as the financial market will still face many challenges such as rising inflation risks and high maturity of corporate bonds in the context of business the global economy is at risk of recession; domestic consumption demand is negatively affected by inflation. In the face of unpredictable volatility in the stock and bond markets, investors had to find ways to adapt and develop, and flexibly change the allocation of investment capital flows.

“2023 is not a year for venture capitalists, but a year of restructuring and re-evaluating the entire portfolio. With investment funds in Vietnam, which industry should invest in for development and profit. At this time, there are many high-margin, high-potential industries, especially real estate," said Mr. Hieu.

According to Mr. Hieu, the real estate sector is always the investment field of developed countries, in Vietnam there are segments of resort real estate, industrial real estate, agricultural real estate and housing. All that segment, investors, investment funds can have analysis, invest in Vietnam.

At the moment, the real estate market is almost frozen, but according to Mr. Hieu, it is only a temporary freeze. In the future, the real estate market is likely to recover well. As for the real estate market in Phu Quoc, this is a market that has been open for a few years, but COVID-19 caused this market to freeze, losing its exciting time.

Phu Quoc's real estate is still a potential and attractive market for investors. “In the future, after 2023, when the real estate market recovers, Phu Quoc's real estate market will be a potential and attractive market for domestic and foreign investors. The remarkable highlight of the real estate market in Phu Quoc is its favorable geographical location, which creates many business opportunities. Along with that, the local government is very supportive of investors,” said Mr. Hieu.

Besides real estate, export companies, companies with great potential and high growth rate are interested by investors.

Regarding the service sector, the hotel service needs time to recover after COVID-19, so it will take until 2023 for investors and investment funds to pay close attention to the resort real estate market.

For the agricultural sector - the mainstay of the economy, Mr. Hieu said that the agricultural sector must go hand in hand with industry (agricultural industrialization) and promote digital transformation to become a good investment environment for the investment funds, foreign investors.
