Total revenue from tourism reached 10,585 billion VND , an increase of nearly 231% compared to 2021. According to statistics, Phu Quoc reached more than 4.7 million visitors. In which, international visitors are estimated to welcome more than 191,000; total revenue is estimated at 7,294 billion VND.

In addition, the city actively participates in promotional activities in foreign markets, raising the level of promotional events to create a highlight to develop new markets. At the same time, Phu Quoc is also actively developing new tours connecting with localities, provinces and cities domestically and internationally.
Up to now, Phu Quoc has 286 tourism investment projects (accounting for 86% of the whole Kien Giang province), with an area of 9,656 hectares, a total investment of nearly 374,500 billion VND.
Kien Giang province continues to implement solutions to restructure the tourism industry, creating a breakthrough in comprehensive development for the province's tourism. The province has set a target to welcome 8.3 million visitors in 2023 (an increase of 48.2% compared to the 2022 plan), of which 400,000 international visitors, an increase of 100% compared to the 2022 plan.
